Governing for the Long Term—Governor Patrick has worked on long-term issues that will help us get through the current economic crisis, grow jobs, and secure our common economic future. Clean Energy Leaders—In pursuit of Governor Patrick’s goal of 2,000 megawatts of wind power in Massachusetts by 2020, the Patrick Administration announced a project to install a utility-scale wind turbine on state land adjacent to the Massachusetts Turnpike’s Blandford Rest Area. “This is a great example of how state agencies can work together to achieve our common goals,” said Governor Patrick. “This wind energy project is good for the environment and it will help create jobs within our clean energy economy.” Read more here, and in the Boston Globe and Mass High Tech.
